Please don’t minimize the struggles of persons with mild hemophilia! Women with mild hemophilia are very much affected by prolonged bleeding because of their monthly menstrual cycle. We become anemic and often undergo many procedures to stop the bleeding. Many of us have joint and muscle bleeds and are on prophylactic treatment. To say we rarely have issues with prolonged bleeding and it only minimally impacts a person’s life is not the case for many of us!
