Though the lecture is aimed at nurses, it’s helpful for anyone looking to learn about these types of hemophilia, as it explains both forms of the disease, the causes, symptoms and treatment options.

Hemophilia is an inherited condition that mostly affects males, although females are carriers of the disease. There is no cure for the disease, but it can be managed with lifestyle changes and medication. Hemophilia patients are encouraged to exercise to promote healthy joints and muscles, although they should avoid contact or dangerous sports.
