How Can You Make an Impact Today
Bleeding disorders affect everyone, male or female, no matter how old you are or where you are in the world. If left untreated, bleeding disorders can lead to serious consequences, and may even cause death.
Bleeding disorder patients in developing countries do not have any support from their governments in regards to necessary care. In fact, they may not even get help when it comes to being diagnosed. Unfortunately, these conditions often affect children, who needlessly suffer through all the awful symptoms of a bleeding disorder, which may one day result in their passing.

If you want to make an impact and help patients around the world, there are a few ways you can do so, according to the WFH:
Make a personal donation
You might think it won’t make a difference, but your donation, along with countless others, may just help WFH provide a child with a better life.
Join the caregiver program
You can think of yourself as a sponsor by providing a person with monthly financial help. You don’t have to give much — anything will make a difference.
Honor someone
If you have a caregiver, doctor, or loved one that has helped you or left their mark on your life, why not choose a significant date related to them and give a gift in their name? If you so choose, a personalized letter or card can be sent to them so they’ll know what you did and why.
You may also choose to do this in memory of a loved one that has passed. Choosing a charity to donate to instead of buying flowers is an option many people appreciate. That way, you can both honor a loved one and make someone’s life better at the same time.
Host a fundraiser
Join together with your community and help raise money to donate to the cause. Enlist the the help of your friends and family and choose something that you’ll have fun doing. Host a barbecue, yard sale, or quiz night, and donate the money you manage to raise to a charity that helps people with bleeding disorders.
Remember, your help can change the lives of people all over the world.
