In the film, Brandston takes viewers through a typical morning routine which involves his mom mixing his meds and a community nurse helping with the infusion. The infusions can last up to an hour, during which time Brandston amuses himself by playing and joking with the rest of his family. After the infusion, his arm is taped up so the needles aren’t disturbed and he is then free to go and play with this brother and sister and go about his day.
