These Podcasts Ask Experts to Answer Hemophilia Questions

In this series of podcasts from Bloodstream Media and shared by Bloodfeed, host Patrick James Lynch submits questions about hemophilia and other bleeding disorders from listeners to various hemophilia and health care experts.

The podcasts feature a pediatric hematologist, Dr. Arash Mahajerin from the Children’s Hospital of Orange County in California, who talks about various subjects including portacaths, bruising, joint pain, medical marijuana, clinical trials, and living with hemophilia at an older age. Dr. Robert Sidonio, an assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at Emory University Hospital appears in another podcast and talks about bleeding disorders in women.

On yet another podcast, Lynch talks about the Better Care Reform Act and how it might impact those with bleeding disorders. He’s joined by Katie Verb who is the Hemophilia Federation of America’s director of policy and government relations.
