These co-morbidities present problems for the doctors treating them as medications and treatments can interfere with white blood cells, as well as put pressure on joints or organs, increasing the patient’s chances of hemorrhaging. Taking multiple medications for different health issues can also put additional strain on the liver and kidney whose function may already be impaired due to hemophilia.
