Directly interfacing with my insurance company in any form, fighting them on a drug that I needed, that I’ve been on for years. Having to actually go into the trenches.
All a patient advocate can do for you is give you the tools to fight, and help remind you what you can do. You have to be the catalyst for change because it’s your account. It’s your body. It’s your VIN number, right?
It’s fighting with my insurance company and then having to, as I get older, continue fighting with more companies.
